| SECTOR : Oil & Gas | PROJECT PHASE: Commissioning | DURATION : 24 months +


  • Involved on the development of new offshore platforms to assist and support the Commissioning Site Leader in Leading Electrical activities of the CPP (Central Processing Platform) EPCIC Contractors activities linked to the Commissioning of the well head platforms / CPP and associated Brownfield additional equipment, in both preparation and execution phases.
  • Report to Commissioning Site Leader


  • Lead all Electrical Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities for assigned sub-systems.
  • Ensure proper implementation and review procedures of all pre-commissioning / commissioning disciplines requirement according to the CONTRACT.
  • Witness and/or verify all Electrical system and Package completion activities performed by the Construction Contractor including approval of punch lists.
  • Assist and control the vendor support required for the assigned systems.
  • Compile relevant documentation to support handover and acceptance of systems to Operations.
  • Maximize onshore commissioning and minimize lost time due to interfaces.
  • Ensure that the Electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning spare parts, consumables equipment, special tools, etc are sufficient and available in time.
  • Adhere to and effectively communicate Project HSE WORKSITE(S) instructions and policies.
  • Follow the contractor ’s Electrical commissioning activities using the OPERCOM® Methodology and ICAPS© (Integrated Commissioning and Progress System) software.
  • Follow the execution of Electrical commissioning activities to achieve commissioning schedule completion target.
  • Control and follow-up on red line mark-up drawings.
  • Ensure Electrical progress status and reporting
  • Ensure proper Punch Item entry and closure
  • Lead relevant OTP, coordinate OTP preparation with Contractor
  • Site inspection with CONTRACTOR and/or Third Part of ATEX Items
  • Control and follow-up on VENDORS commissioning scope of work activities such as: SAT, OTPs, documents update, Closing of Punch list, reporting.


  • Qualification: Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree or equivalent in engineering diploma.
  • Experience: + 10 years in oil & gas industry including minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Electrical accreditation
  • Familiar with ATEX environment
  • Mastery of OPERCOM and ICAPS, PRODOM/MANASA DCC Database and relevant codes and standards
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings
  • Language: Fluent English
