OSS AUXILIARY TECHNICIAN

| SECTOR : Renewable Energy | PROJECT PHASE: Commissioning | DURATION : 12 months in CDIC and after CDI.

YOUR MISSION

To assist the OSS commissioning team in performing all commissioning related tasks including but not limited to the following.

  • Supervise AUX systems commissioning activities and associated planning for the OSS package
  • Ensure that the related commissioning activities comply with the contract and project requirements in terms of HSE, quality, planning and cost
  • Ensure zero harm HSE policy through deep involvement in HSE on a daily basis, in particular regarding Aux systems operational activities
  • Ensure that commissioning activities are performed following established procedures
  • Ensure that commissioning activities demonstrate that the Contractor has completed the Works in accordance with the relevant codes, standards, norms, regulations, laws and the Employer’s Requirements
  • Ensure that commissioning activities demonstrate the operability of the Works over their Design Life
  • Ensure that commissioning activities demonstrate that the equipment and systems supplied by the Contractor as part of the Works provide the functionalities and operation modes described in the Employer’s Requirements and in the operation and maintenance plan
  • Ensure that the technical departments’ best practices are implemented in commissioning activities
  • Contribute to proactive management, good coordination and communication between all parties and that the process works effectively
  • Report commissioning progress and participate in commissioning meetings
  • Ensure human resources, services and tools required to perform the work have been identified and are mobilized in due time by the Contractor

YOUR ACTIVITIES

  • Check and manage the commissioning of all the OSS auxiliary systems
  • Relevant site walk downs and checks
  • Ad hoc tasks (both onshore and offshore)
  • General assistance to commissioning team
  • General onshore construction base duties

 

After OSS Taking Over

  • Coordination of waste collection on the OSS
  • Coordinating bunkering operations on the OSS
  • General maintenance and inspections of OSS auxiliary systems
  • Assist with cargo operations
  • Cleaning operations on the OSS decks
  • Undertake inductions, HSE drills and POB counts for the OSS platforms
  • Check, maintain and replace any damaged items on the OSS such as gate pins, latches…
  • Cleaning, maintaining and fixing small issue tasks.
  • Inspection and certification of hook on points

YOUR PROFILE

  • Experience in commissioning and maintenance
  • Recommended experience in wind industry
  • Recommended experience in similar position
  • Adaptable, and ready to work with an international team
  • Ability to communicate proficiently in the English and/or French language
  • Should be able to perform basic tasks on MS Office
