Jacket Project Engineer

| SECTOR: Oil and Gas | PROJECT PHASE: Design / Construction | DURATION: Two years and a half

YOUR MISSION

  • Ensure technical coordination with package lead during all phases of the execution
  • Monitor and Follow-up, in coordination with Batch 3 CPP Procurement engineer, the procurement activities related to CPP Jacket Piles and Bridge, and provide support on related procurement activities when needed
  • Actively support Gallaf Batch 3 EPCIC 6 Interface Engineer for construction related interface and monitor/follow-up construction related interfaces progress and resolution.
  • Assist and support Batch 3 CPP Jacket Construction Yard Leas throughout all the project preparation and execution phases
  • Report and liaise with lead as needed

YOUR ACTIVITIES

  • To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other HSE procedures in all Jacket EPC activities,
  • To carry out work in compliance with company’s values and policies, relevant laws and regulations, agreed priorities and objectives, standards and procedures and good industry practices,
  • In case of drift in schedule, liaise with other team involved (engineering, construction, commissioning) to study remedial actions
  • Promote a “no change policy” to meet budget and schedule constraint without impairing quality and safety of Piles and Bridge construction activities.
  • To manage assistance from shareholder specialists (remote head office), when required during all phases,
  • To assist Project Management to compile dossier and make presentation for both internal and external approval and reporting purpose (validation committees, project review, reporting meeting, …). This will also include the various KOM’s, Weekly/Monthly meetings, and Management meeting.
  • To participate and/or manage weekly and monthly meetings with Contractor(s), and call specific ad hoc meetings as required,
  • To participate on follow up on the Project progress and risk reporting,
  • Monitor and Follow-up, in coordination with Batch 3 CPP Procurement engineer, the procurement activities related to CPP Jacket Piles and Bridge, and provide support on related procurement activities when needed
  • To oversee Contractor’s procurement personnel on the Construction yard procurement, expediting, inspection and logistics during the execution of the project to provide assurance of quality and timely delivery;
  • Give a clear status and regular reporting to CPP Jacket Pile and Bridge lead on related procurement activities
  • To monitor and follow-up Detail Engineering of Batch 3 EPCIC6 Jacket, Piles and Bridge progress including follow-up of engineering and vendor documentation reviews to ensure compliance with design dossier, SOR, Company specifications, Corporate standard and HSE regulation, international codes and classification society rules,
  • To ensure, in collaboration with engineering coordinator that EPCIC 6 Jacket, Piles and Bridge deliverables are properly assigned to and reviewed by appropriately qualified Project personnel within the construction team when needed, and within specified time period,
  • To ensure that EPC queries are reviewed and responded to in a timely manner,
  • To ensure implementation of the design change process affecting CPP Jacket, Pile and Bridge activities,
  • To manage, follow-up and monitor potential deviations related to Jacket, Piles and Bridge Construction from the NOC referential with the relevant personnel in charge from drafting to final decision on whether or not to implement,
  • To attend HAZID/ HAZOP/ Project Technical reviews sessions with the company, Contractors and vendors teams
  • To ensure engineering support to construction and commissioning teams as required,
  • To ensure close coordination within team on all engineering, constructability and operational matters,
  • To ensure that relevant feedback from previous similar projects are considered project works performance,
  • To ensure Company participation in inspections at site/vendor premises as required
  • The job holder shall provide support to Project Interface Management Team to identify manage follow-up and expedite Jacket piles and bridge construction related interfaces. The job holder shall ensure consistency and correct interfacing with other areas to ensure that all requirement of for Jacket Pile and Bridge construction activities are complied with.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering,
  • Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in the offshore oil & gas project
  • Experience within a project team: At least 5 years’ experience within large multinational taskforce team environment,
  • Work experience in procurement activities
  • Experience in interfacing and engineering processes is an advantage
  • Available for technical missions worldwide,
  • Familiar with Total General Specifications, Prodom, MOQ standards and relevant codes and standards,
  • Language: Fluent English,
  • Computer literate,
  • Good leadership skills and good communication skills,
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
  • Good analytical skills,
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
