FOU Commissioning Supervisor

| SECTOR : Renewable Energy | PROJECT PHASE: Commissioning | DURATION : 12 months minimum

YOUR MISSION

  • Monitor the onshore and offshore commissioning activities
  • Ensure that outstanding works and quality issues are detected and reported
  • Monitor mechanical and electrical completion
  • Ensure that work is carried out in compliance with the project HSE rules and local legislation
  • Ensure that the work is organised and done according to the Employer’s requirements
  • Ensure that tests are carried out and commissioning work documented according to rules, procedures and templates
  • Ensure that the progress of commissioning is reported in daily progress reports
  • Conduct and record toolbox talks and other relevant HSE documentation

YOUR ACTIVITIES

  • Ensure that the contractor performs maintenance of and replacement of defective Aviation/Temporary Navigation light on assets
  • Inspection and certification of hook-on points
  • Assist the contractor with maintenance
  • Following commissioning team with pre/post-energization inspections
  • Walk down/handover inspection on foundations
  • Check and ensure that contractor maintain and replace any damaged items on the foundations (if required)
  • Assist in confined space works and inspections
  • TP Davit crane operations and maintenance
  • Day-to-day supervision of contractor’s commissioning activities
  • Comply with permit to work and electrical safety rules
  • Participate in the daily site meetings
  • Ensure that the contractor performs maintenance of defective fall-arrestors
  • Installation and removal of reflectors (in support of installation vessels)
  • Perform inspections as per ITP
  • Supervise / perform functional tests in line with commissioning procedures
  • Supervise / report progress to the concerned commissioning leader/manager
  • Supervise / assist / clarify FOU contractor for punch list items identification and clearance

YOUR PROFILE

  • At least 3 years of work experience in wind industry
  • Recommended 1 year of experience in similar position
  • Adaptable, and ready to work with an international team
  • Ability to communicate proficiently in the English and/or French language
  • Should be able to perform basic tasks on MS Office
